Ideas
1. Put on some music, and dance
yourself goofy.
2. Walk around the block . . .
backwards.
3. Take tennis lessons with a
parent.
4. Get a hacky sack and get real
good at it.
5. Take a martial arts class.
6. Bike-ride.
7. Swim or water-walk.
8. Jump rope.
9. Pushups, situps and pullups.
10. Jump on a mini-trampoline.
12. Tag football.
13. Run around the house 10 times
and time yourself; record your time every day for one month.
14. Vacuum.
15. Sweep the garage or the driveway
with a broom.
16. Skateboard.
17. Blow bubbles and chase them on a
windy day.
18. Play hide and seek.
19. Put on a pot and pan parade and
march with those knees high.
20. Pull weeds or put mulch around
trees and garden plants.
21. Shovel snow for yourself and a
neighbor.
22. Hula hoop.
23. Rollerskate, rollerblade, play
driveway hockey, or go heelying.
24. Play Twister.
25. Play pingpong.
26. Visit the batting cages.
27. Play catch.
28. Go hiking.
29. Hit golf balls at a driving
range.
30. Walk and run with your dog.

32. Set up a mini-obstacle course in
your back yard with a jump rope, the swing set, a basketball used as a bowling
ball to knock down empty milk bottles partially filled with sand, and whatever
other events you can dream up. Time yourself and others going through it.
33. Set up an Ultimate Frisbee field
(like football, with a Frisbee), or a Frisbee golf course in your back yard, or
just toss a Frisbee to a friend.
34. Kickball - get some neighbors
and others to join in for this combination of baseball and soccer.
