Stick Sculpture

Today's Snack: Cut carrots and celery into sticks, and run them through cucumber rounds and tomato half-circle slices until you make a pleasing sculpture. Then eat your art! Drink a cup of cocoa and stir it with a different kind of stick: a cinnamon stick.

Supplies:

Be outside, in nature; autumn is a great time for this

Collect fallen sticks and branches, and pretty leaves

Find two tree trunks that are close together. Then wedge, pile and lean fallen sticks and branches between them at different angles.

Decorate the branches by poking pretty leaves onto the smaller twigs sticking out at angles.

You can add other "found" materials from outside to add interest.

Leave your work of art in place and imagine that others will come by and believe that it all came together all by itself!
